The cost of developing AAA, AA, and Indie video games has ballooned into hundreds of millions of dollars, with most popular titles costing upward of $200 million. Despite spending excessive funds on game development, game creators are limited to incremental growth in output due to stagnation in gaming technologies.
Lack of Emotional Engagement with Players - The current games come with pre-scripted storylines and plots because they depend on massive teams of writers, actors, animators, sound engineers, and third-party resources. As a result, most games fail to develop emotional connections with players because of the monotonous interactions and repetitiveness.
Limited Cross-Application Integration - Most current games are not designed for cross-platform usage, which means studios must incur additional costs to create different versions of the same title for different platforms (PC, console, mobile).
